Couple weeks back I had a bit of a “rant” as some would call it and it was extremely therapeutic for me to really get my thoughts out on the whole trend of being a blogger. In that rant I touched a tad on my aspirations and where I am aiming to have my future open up to.
I’ve been taking more time out to focus on creating physical pieces, something we can hold, touch, feel. Versus getting featured on 100 various major blogs or websites and being at the bottom of the page in 15 minutes. This is all a learning process every step I take may have me stressing over my head and wanting to punch very wall in sight. But I have no choice but to get over these humps now and learn to better myself and get me closer to where I see myself in 5 – 10 years.
This Thursday, in collaboration with Jargon Statements I will be holding my first photo exhibition. For all my Montreal folks this event will be held at 506 Rachel St East ( Boutique Alibi ). This has been a humbling and learning experience to really gel with the real world and grow in my craft. This is an open invitation to my event and hope you all can come out and support, it is always a great pleasure to ge a chance and kick back with my readers.
All information regarding this event can be found on the Facebook Page.
Young Kings
In todays society we are slowly seeing a shift in power, influence, and recognition. It appears that today’s influencers are getting a lot younger and creative right before our eyes. What makes this shift in recognition and power so interesting is that those who are “influencer” are not even aware of their reach or their impact in society. This is also the beauty of the shift, the unknown, the pursuit of ones craft merely for the love and not the glory. Theses images were set out to capture the strength and enduring minds of today’s youth. Who in my eyes are todays new kings, Young Kings.
